Cicada was tasked with developing a Virtual Reality Video of the new design for The Africa Center in New York City. Produced in collaboration with Sensorium, the VR video is a guided tour of the facility. The video offers a first person immersive experience of the proposed spaces designed by Caples Jefferson Architects. Cicada additionally created a new feature video to depict the design. Both productions were featured at a fundraising event in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Africa Center is located at the North East corner of Central Park on 5th Avenue. While host to events, performances and exhibitions showcasing African culture, the Africa Center makes ties between North America and Africa to further cultural, policy and business ventures between them.
